AgriKidsNZ 2024
Registrations are open for AgriKidsNZ 2024!
AgriKidsNZ contestants compete in teams of three and are challenged to a range of practical modules based on the food and fibre sector.
Children from all backgrounds enjoy the competition, it’s a way for them to get outside and get active with their friends. All they need to bring is determination and enthusiasm!

Taranaki Manawatu: 16 March 2024
East Coast: 23 March 2024
Waikato/BOP: 6 April 2024
Northern: 13 April 2024
AgriKidsNZ is back for 2024!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Seven Regional Finals run across the country between February and April 2024. Competing in teams of three, contestants will be challenged to a series of modules based on the food and fibre sector. The top three teams from each Regional Final move through to the Grand Final to battle it out for the title of AgriKidsNZ Champions.
WHO CAN ENTER?
> Primary school students between the ages of 8-13 (age as of 1 February 2024).
> A maximum of eight teams from each school.
> There is a maximum of 35 teams per event
> NOTE: if you don't have your team members confirmed, you can still register teams! Just put "TBC" in the relevant fields and confirm closer to the event.
PRIZES
1st Place: $30 per contestant
2nd Place: $25 per contestant
3rd Place: $20 per contestant
COST
Entry into AgriKidsNZ is FREE!
Entries close the Sunday prior to the event at 11.59pm. Each registration is for a team of three contestants.
